Dreaming of rosy-hued sunsets over a white sand beach?

Then look no further than the most affordable seaside housing in Malibu… the Point Dume Club, a 24-hour gated mobile home park filled with charming beach bungalows, and offering beach access, a heated swimming pool, tennis court, saunas, and a clubhouse.

When we bought our “trailer” ten years ago, we intended to flip it. But the appeal of afternoon bike rides along the sand with our kids and evening barbecues with friends while the sun set on the ocean proved too alluring. Quite simply, we fell in love. And it’s easy to see why:

My good friend (and trailer park neighbor) Laura Wasser is a fellow Malibu enthusiast, so I enlisted her to share her guide to these 27 miles of scenic beauty. Read her guide to find the best shops, places to eat, and under-the-radar spots.

Another noteworthy neighbor is Nina Freudenberger, interior designer and author of Surf Shack: Laid-Back Living by the Water. Nina designed her family's incredible trailer in Point Dume which was recently featured in Vogue Living.
