Small George Floyd 11" x 14" art print designed by Jenna's daughter Lucy Lipofsky framed in a classic 12.5" x 15.5" oak frame.
We are donating all proceeds to the Lyric McHenry Community Arts Fellowship.
I made this collage of George Floyd out of newspaper scraps on Sunday May 31, 2020 (six days after George was killed) because I wanted to contribute to the cause in a creative way. I was inspired by the amount of people who showed up (and are still showing up) to fight for what is right. When the looting began, my mom was forced to board up her shop, +COOP, so instead of having plain plywood, we decided to decorate it with my posters.
100% of the proceeds from the sale of this poster will be donated to the Lyric McHenry Community Arts Fellowship, which supports 3-4 students each year to complete a summer internship with an arts organization that furthers racial and/or social justice. To learn more visit lyricmchenry.com
